Campaigns and battles
Campaign 1: The German Offensive — Take command of the Wehrmacht as it crosses the border into Poland in September 1939. Fight through seven pivotal engagements from the Battle of Mokra to the Siege of Warsaw.
Campaign 2: The Polish Defence — Experience the same seven battles from the Polish perspective. Organise your defences and attempt to hold back the invasion.
Scenarios include the Battle of Mokra, the Battle of Lodz, the heroic stand at Wizna, the Bzura river counter-offensive, the Battle of Kobryn, Battle of Tomaszow Lubelski, and the climactic Siege of Warsaw.
Gameplay
Each scenario plays out on a hex grid representing the historical terrain — plains, forests, mountains, rivers, swamps, and urban areas all affect movement and combat. Units have distinct strengths: infantry excels in urban defence, armour can overrun weaker units, artillery strikes from a distance, and reconnaissance units extend your vision through the fog of war.
Victory conditions vary by scenario — you may need to capture specific towns, control a percentage of victory points, survive a set number of turns, or eliminate the enemy entirely.
Manage your prestige points to recruit reinforcements or supply your existing units, position your forces to exploit terrain advantages, and coordinate combined-arms attacks to break through enemy lines.
